TBD is engaged in the development and production of electronic devices and embedded systems, with an emphasis on project-driven processes and complex technological projects.

Challenges


Given the complexity of the business and the large number of parallel projects, the goal was to ensure better connectivity of all business functions. The client recognized the need to consolidate business processes that were taking place through multiple unconnected systems and tools.

A special focus was on connecting the sales process, project management, production, and finance, with the need for better insight into costs, resources, and profitability.

Additionally, the goal was to ensure greater transparency in procurement processes, document management, and activity tracking across multiple connected companies.

Solution


The Odoo ERP system was implemented as a central platform that connects all key business functions within a single system. The system is tailored to a complex environment that includes development, production, and management of high-tech projects. 

The system enables management of the entire business cycle – from managing sales opportunities and creating offers, through planning and executing projects, to production, warehousing, and financial tracking.

Sales and CRM

The implementation of the CRM module established a centralized system for managing sales opportunities, allowing for tracking the entire sales cycle – from initial contact to realization.

The system enables advanced reporting, including analysis of lead sources, opportunity values, and sales performance, facilitating better decision-making.

Project and resource management

By integrating modules for projects, timesheets, and planning, precise tracking of time spent and budget control per project has been enabled.

The system provides real-time insight into resource utilization and allows for timely responses in case of exceeding planned capacities.

Production and warehouse

The implementation of the production and warehouse management module established a system for managing production processes, materials, and inventory.

The system allows for tracking work orders, managing bill of materials (BOM), and using barcodes for efficient warehouse management and reducing errors.

Finance and multi-company management

Odoo enables centralized financial management across multiple connected companies, providing clear insights into costs, revenues, and obligations.

The integrated approach allows for precise financial reporting and decision-making based on up-to-date data.
