Challenges


The company recognized the need to modernize existing systems and consolidate data that was spread across multiple tools and sources.

Solution


The Odoo ERP system was implemented as a central platform that connects project management, manufacturing, warehouse, procurement, human resources, and accounting.

The system allows for tracking the complete project life cycle – from planning and resource allocation, through manufacturing and procurement of materials, to financial tracking and analysis.

Particular emphasis was placed on integration with CAD tools, ensuring connectivity between the engineering and operational parts of the business.

Integration with CAD systems

The Odoo system is integrated with CAD tools (e.g., Solidworks), enabling synchronization of material data between design and the ERP system.

The following has been achieved:

  • alignment of codes and material nomenclature
  • reduction of errors in procurement and production
  • better collaboration between the engineering and operations teams

Integration enables automated or semi-automated data transfer, significantly speeding up production preparation and ensuring the accuracy of information throughout the process.

Project management and profitability

Odoo allows detailed tracking of all activities and costs per project, including materials, labor, and other resources.

Through the integration of project, timesheet, and accounting modules, the following has been enabled:

  • tracking of time spent
  • analysis of project profitability
  • better planning of future resources

This approach provides clear insight into the financial performance of each project and enables informed business decision-making.

Results


The implementation of the system has achieved data centralization and the connection of all key business processes within a single platform.
